Climbing Facilities
This gym gets a 5 out of 5 for its climbing facilities. It is a bouldering only gym, but it has a lot of wall space including an area above the rest of the gym on a mezzanine. Routes are labeled with a tag screwed into the wall near a rock path of a certain color and the start holds are marked by tape as the same color of the rock path. The walls are made from plywood that is painted with a rougher material so they aren't super sticky, not like walltopia, but still sufficient for smearing. There is a really cool feature with the wall dipping lower to form moves where you kind of have to climb and reach backward, or even jump from wall to wall. The flooring consisted of large nearly seamless pads about 24” thick made from a plastic canvas material.
Fitness Area
The fitness area here gets a 5 out of 5. The fitness area has a squat rack and free weights. For cardio there are some bikes but no treadmills. There are also rings and a ton of different hang boards. There are also two adjustable campus boards.
Locker Rooms/ Bathrooms
The bathrooms here get a 4 out of 5. The bathrooms are not super fancy, but not dirty. There is a large room in the back of the gym with a unisex shower, but they do not have towels or a sauna. There are also lockers at the front entrance of the gym.
Parking
The parking here gets a 3 out of 5. There seems to be limited parking close by, but it is located in a warehouse area so there is more parking, it's just a little bit of a walk.
General Ambiance
The ambiance of this gym gets a 4 out of 5. The air in the gym felt clean and fresh, because there was a large door in the back with two big fans to blow air inside. The music was good and laid-back. The walls look really marked up, so it does give the gym a slightly dirtier feel. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. In the back of the gym there is a large mezzanine with a super fancy coffee machine next to an area with a sink and clean glasses to drink from. On the mezzanine there was an area that was great for relaxing and getting work done as well.
